Surrounded by woods, this Westchester mansion was once listed for more than $30 million.
A Georgian-inspired mansion that sits on 86 acres of wooded land in Chappaqua, New York, will go under the hammer with no reserve next month after spending years on and off the market.
The 19,000-square-foot home was first listed in 2010 and originally asked more than $30 million, according to Elite Auctions, who will handle the on-site court-authorized bankruptcy auction on May 11. It was last put on the market in March for $13.75 million, according to public listing records.
Stewart Dauman, former CEO of Vision Financial Corp., which provides administrative services related to insurance, and his wife, Debra, built the home in 2004, Elite CEO and founder Randy Haddaway said. The Daumans could not immediately be reached for comment.
Mr. Haddaway said Mr. Dauman calls it his “dream home.”
